On the home page: Photoshop Tutorial - blurring backgrounds

An illustrated guide to blurring a busy background using layers. Works in Photoshop, but should work in other image programs - Paint.net or The Gimp come to mind. If anyone has tried, please let me know.

I've included links to these programs, plus the very good video guides which taught me the technique in the first place.

Last night I added a tutorial about blurring a background using Photoshop. Step by step instructions illustrated with a real example from my computer. I hope it's readable!
On my "to do" list is to collect a variety of creative web projects and display them in a coherent manner. At the moment I have links to my Father's web page of verse (worth a browse) and a page about the Tsunami CD, a family & friends compilation of songs used to raise money for Tsunami relief. I hope to revamp said page with some more actual recordings.
